SPOKANE, Wash. -

A Spokane woman on her lunch break Friday suddenly found herself the target of road rage in a Taco Bell drive-thru.

Around 11 a.m. Friday, Ashley Hill said a car cut her off while driving in the Lowe's parking lot in north Spokane.

Hill said she flipped off the driver, something she admits was a mistake, and the driver became enraged.

"Next thing I know he's parked over here and he came up to my car," said Ashley Hill.

Hill was ordering her food in the Taco Bell drive-thru  when she said the man started yelling obscenities at her and then slapped her in the face.

"Of course I didn't know what to do I just froze and he called me a whore, told me not to flip him off, hit me and that's when I rolled up window," she added.

Hill said she was able to block the brunt of the hit with her arm.

"He didn't hit me hard but he did make contact to my face," she added.

Hill said she continued through the drive-thru and fearing for her safety drove back to work where she then called 911 and Crime Check.

The Spokane Police Department said its now investigating.

Hill described her attacker as a white male, in his mid 40's, with brown/gray hair.  He was wearing a white baseball cap and white t-shirt.  Hill said her attacker was driving a white Dodge Challenger with bright blue racing stripes on the hood.  If you have any information call Crime Check at 456-2233.

"I hope someone will recognize this person and turn him in so he can get charged because like my boss said if he's doing it to me, who knows what else he's doing when he gets mad at someone else," Hill added.
