Online threats to Granite Falls, Wash., students
The Granite Falls, Wash., School District and police are investigating anonymous online threats that have targeted high school students.
The Daily Herald reports that district spokeswoman Elizabeth Holderman says the threats involve specific acts against students who were identified by name. Some threats mentioned a bomb.
Holderman said yesterday the threats "are inconsistent and appear to be invalid."
She says school remains in session and security measures have been taken. Families have been notified.
