North Idaho Fair has "Everything Under The Sun"
Summer may be winding down but there's still plenty of fun to be had in the Coeur d'Alene area, where the North Idaho Fair started at 9 a.m. Wednesday and runs through Sunday evening.
This year's theme for the fair is "Everything Under The Sun" and that's exactly what the folks that put on the fair hope to offer, a little something for everyone. Even if you have been coming to the North Idaho Fair for years you should be impressed with everything new this year.
"That's pretty much what we have here this year, we have got everything from a sand sculptor to exotic and venomous animals, we have got the PRAC rodeo of course and motocross, demolition derby," North Idaho Fair Communications Manager Kristi Blaver said.
This year, the fair also went with a new contract for carnival rides, which will be bigger and better than ever before. And now you can find your way around the fair much easier thanks to a new mobile app for smart phones.
Along with all of that fairgoers can count on all the traditional eats and other attractions. The 4-H program is always a huge part of what goes on here at the fair and should make for a well-rounded fair experience.
"You just have to come this year; like I said we have something for everyone this year, every member of the family, something for everyone to enjoy," Kristi Blaver said.
