Taxi driver robbed at gunpoint

SPOKANE, Wash. -

A taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint in North Spokane early Friday morning.

According to Spokane police, a man got into the back of a taxi at Division Street and Empire Avenue just before 2 a.m.

The passenger pulled out a gun and demanded that the driver give him everything he has.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the man left the taxi and took off running.

Police said they are looking for a white man between 25 and 30 years old. He was wearing a black ski mask, a black jacket and was carrying a black backpack.
