7-11 Robbery
SPOKANE, Wash. -

Police are looking for a man who robbed a West Central Spokane 7-11 store at toy gunpoint.

The robbery happened at the convenience store on Maple Street and Maxwell Avenue around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the robber came into the store, pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and demanded all the money in the cash register.

The cashier obliged and then the robber ran out of the store and down Maxwell.

Police said they found a broken cap gun outside the store and they believe that is what the man used to rob the store. Police tried tracking the man with K-9 units but the track was unsuccessful.

Officers are looking at surveillance video from the store and hope to get a description of the robber.
